Overview
Ever wanted to experience being a hot lap passenger on one of Australia's most famous race circuits? Hold on tight around either Queensland Raceway, historic Lakeside Raceway, Norwell near the Gold Coast or around the intricacies of Morgan Park in one of our track prepared Lotus Exige high performance sports cars. Be amazed at the cornering and stopping ability of these world renowned pocket rockets!
Upon your arrival at the race track, you will be greeted by our friendly staff and signed on in preparation! A safety briefing will follow before being kitted up in the appropriate safety equipment including a helmet.
Now it's time for the fun to start! With the adrenalin building you will be strapped into the light weight aluminum confines that are LOTUS! You'll be introduced to your experienced racing 'chauffer', that is one of our professional team drivers for the hot lap session. From here on it's time to 'hang on' and take in the exhilaration of the amazing speeds and g-forces that these highly tuned sports cars can produce. You can expect to experience 3 hot laps during the experience.

Queensland Raceway, is approximately 50km west of Brisbane, on the outskirts of Ipswich Lakeside Raceway is approx 35km north of Brisbane airport in the suburb of Kurwongbah. Morgan Park Raceway is approx 160kms south west of Brisbane. Norwell is approx 35mins North of the Gold Coast Exact meeting point and supplier's details are provided immediately after booking.
Additional Info
- You must be a minimum of 120cm tall and 40kg. Max height of 185cm and approx 125kgs. Children must have the consent of a parent or guardian. This experience is not suitable for pregnant women or those people suffering from a heart condition.
- In Car DVDs of the experience are available at a cost of $60.00 payable directly to the supplier on the day. Spectators are welcome at a cost of $10pp also entitling them cold refreshments. Hot Laps are generally not affected by adverse weather conditions.
- Numbers on the day: This Experience is valid for 1 Person - We operate with a max of 12 on the day. Groups welcome.
- Session length: Hot laps are for three complete laps inc leaving and returning to pit lane.. Allow approx 1 - 1.5 hours to sign in, be briefed, get suited up and for the Hot Lap ride.
- No license is required. Casual and comfortable clothing is recommended. For safety reasons, fully enclosed shoes must also be worn. You'll be provided with a helmet and race suit. Hot Laps are generally not affected by adverse weather conditions. If extreme and beyond our control, we reserve the right to cancel and reschedule to another suitable date. In the event of a cancellation, you'll be contacted directly by the supplier.
Changes and Cancellations Policy
The cancellation policy for this activity is as follows:
- Cancellations notified 30 days or more prior to activity date » full refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified 8 days or more (but less than 30 days) prior to activity date » 50% refund is given by activity supplier;
- Cancellations notified less than 8 days prior to activity date » no refund is given by activity supplier.
If you do not attend at the agreed date, time and place you may not be entitled to any refund by the activity supplier.
